Reels are short vertical videos that Instagram shows in their own tab, usually with music or original audio. This page is built for them: the tool above is already set to Instagram and video, so there's nothing to pick before you paste.
Each Reel is saved as a single MP4 file with picture and sound together, in the highest quality Instagram serves for that clip. The final quality depends on what the creator uploaded, so no tool can push it above the original. If you only care about the audio, such as a song snippet or a voiceover, choose Audio to get a smaller MP3 instead.
Reel links usually start with instagram.com/reel/, and you can copy one from the share button under the clip. Downloads work with public accounts only; private accounts can't be reached.

What's the difference between a Reel and an Instagram video?
Reels are short vertical clips with their own tab. Instagram videos also include clips posted inside regular feed posts. The tool handles both; this page is set up for Reels.
Is the sound included?
Yes. The MP4 file contains both picture and sound. To keep only the audio, choose Audio and you'll get an MP3.
Why did my Reel fail to download?
Usually the account is private, the Reel was deleted, or the link wasn't copied in full. Check that you can see the Reel without logging in, then try again.
Where does the Reel go after downloading?
To your Downloads folder. On iPhone it's in the Files app, where you can save it to Photos.
