Not every Instagram video is a Reel. Plenty of clips are shared inside regular posts that appear in the feed and on profiles; their links start with instagram.com/p/. Older IGTV links that start with instagram.com/tv/ work too. This page is set up for those videos, with the tool above already on Instagram and video.
When you paste a link, the site works out what kind of post it is. If the post is a photo, pick Photo. If it's an album that mixes several photos and clips, pick Album and you'll get one ZIP file with everything inside.
The video is saved as an MP4 in the best quality available for the post, a format that plays on almost any device without extra software. You can also pull the soundtrack out as an MP3 by choosing Audio.

No. Only public posts can be downloaded. If the account is private, the site can't reach the video.
